Norbert Lartigue

Executive president, Chairman of the Board

Norbert graduated from the National College of Electronics Engineering (Ecole Supérieure d’Electricité) in 1972. He firstly worked in avionics and electronic equipment development at EAS, the electronics subsidiary of Aerospatiale, then with Eurocopter from 1984 to 1995 as Executive Vice President of Engineering, and with PSA Peugeot Citroen where he served as Executive Vice President, Chassis and Powertrain, and was a member of the Board of Directors. Norbert is today member of The National Academy of Engineering of France (Académie des Technologies) and is also a Board member of several high-tech businesses.

Alain Lunati

Managing Director & Founder

Alain owns a PhD in Chemistry with BP Oil and Aix-Marseille University and a MSc in Chemical Engineering from Centrale Marseille School. He acquired 20 years experience in industry including 9 years in the refining & petrochemical business with various positions for BP Oil and ABB Process Industries, from Research Engineer for Fuel formulation optimization using Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR), Project Engineer & Project Manager. Alain left BP Oil to join ABB Process Industries to be in charge to settle and develop the “Refining Optimization” Business Unit. Then he founded SP3H in 2005.

Thomas Rölle

Thomas graduated from Technical University of Hannover in mechanical engineering, thermal combustion engines and vehicle technologies. He joined IAV in 1989 as a research engineer for injection system development. He was Project leader on different injection system and powertrain development and calibration projects. He was Department leader for injection system development, and then in charge of IAV Group business development in France since 2005. He became President of IAV France with its creation in 2007. In 2013 he switched to Senior Project Management as on IAV Group level it was decided to compensate lacks of staff load in IAV France by the relocation of German projects. Once these projects brought to an end he left IAV France by September 2015. 

Olivier Hersent

Director of the board

Olivier graduated from Ecole nationale supérieure des Télécommunications in Paris and Ecole Polytechnique in France. He is a recognized telecom and technology expert. He founded NetCentrex in 1998, a leading provider of VoIP infrastructure for service providers and then became CTO of Comverse after the acquisition of NetCentrex in 2006. In 2010, he founded Actility, which is positioned on the M2M (Machine to Machine) market and on communicating objects (Internet of Things) deployed on a massive scale. Since 2007, he is also the President of Socracy, a non-profit organization aiming at facilitating the generation of new political ideas and proposals through greater and simpler implication of field experts.

Alexandre Ouimet-Storrs

Alexandre graduated from McGill University in Montreal with a Bachelor degree (2004) and a Master (2006) in Chemical Engineering. From 2003 to 2004, he was board member of McGill University. Alex has an extensive knowledge of energy markets and electricity production technologies. He co-founded two startups in Canada – one of them won the Quebec Entrepreneurship Competition in 2005. Prior to work at Truffle in 2011, Alex was hired in the START program at Air Liquide SA in Paris as an Energy Manager for Europe, working primarily on physical and financial cogeneration plant optimization. He is also involved as a board member of Acerde, Neelogy, SP3H, OHT, Dietswell, Eco Carbone, 2B Energy and Actility.

Michel Eschalier

Director of the board

First as an engineer and then as an executive, Michel has primarily worked in the diesel engine industry in France and worldwide (Perkins, Lucas Varity, and Delphi Europe). He currently teaches management at the training institute run by IFP Energies Nouvelles (formerly the French Petroleum Institute) and acts as a business angel through the Réseau Entreprendre association.

Jérôme Gallot

As a lawyer and a graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques and the Ecole Nationale d’Administration, Jérôme worked for 25 years as a senior manager in industry, international
trade, and corporate finance (at CDC Entreprises and Fonds Stratégiques d’Investissement). Between 2011 and 2013, he was CEO of Veolia Transdev. Jérôme Gallot works as a consultant in corporate governance, competition law and management, and is a board member with several companies.

Hervé Poirel

Director of the board

Graduated from Art & Métiers, Hervé worked for Thomson until 1992 where he won a large background in industrialization manufacturing process and production line for semi-conductor and display. Last 1992, he created his own company dedicated to cleanrooms and ultra-pure pipes. He is now CEO and BDM for Acerde, developing innovative X ray anodes for the medical industry, where he set up the Industrialization chain including ISO 9001 certification.
